The Belding Black Knights will challenge the Oakridge Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Belding will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

Belding is headed into the matchup after thoroughly thrashing Fruitport: they outscored them in every quarter. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Black Knights blew the Trojans out of the water with a 36-7 final score. Considering the Black Knights have won four contests by more than 28 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, Oakridge won a game that couldn't have been any closer, slipping by Whitehall 14-13. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Eagles have posted against the Vikings since September 30, 2016.

Belding's record is now 5-1. As for Oakridge, their record now sits at an identical 5-1.

Everything came up roses for Belding against Oakridge in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, as the team secured a 30-3 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Black Knights since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
