Baseball Recap: Stark Comes Up Short

Kennett hit Stark with a nine-run second inning on Friday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Generals came up short against the Eagles, falling 11-1. The Generals were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2025.

Stark's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Kennett, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Stark will take on rival Lebanon at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Kennett is set to challenge their familiar foe Laconia at 3:30 p.m. on Monday.
