James Logan is 7-2 against San Leandro since September of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Colts will look to defend their home field against the Pirates at 7:00 p.m. James Logan is coming into the contest hot, having won their last three games.

On Friday, James Logan made easy work of Tennyson and carried off a 37-13 victory. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Colts' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' California football rankings (they are ranked 286th, while the Lancers are ranked 581st).

Among those leading the charge was Kamari Robinson, who rushed for 40 yards and one TD, and also threw for 98 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only seven passes. Jeramiyah Cotton was another key player, rushing for 57 yards and one score on only six carries.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 35 points the game before, San Leandro was a bit more limited in their matchup on Friday. They were outmatched by Moreau Catholic and fell 35-8. The Pirates haven't had much luck with the Mariners recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

San Leandro's defeat dropped their record down to 4-3. As for James Logan, their win bumped their record up to 5-2.

James Logan beat San Leandro 34-22 in their previous meeting back in October of 2024. Will the Colts repeat their success, or do the Pirates have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
