Basketball Recap: Houston Comes Up Short

Houston was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 56-39 bruising from the Winona Wildcats. The Tigers were probably out for revenge after losing 51-42 to them when the teams met back in December of 2023, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Houston's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Winona, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-2.

A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Houston Tigers face off against the Bakersfield Lions at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Winona will take on Lesterville in a holiday battle at at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
