Baseball Recap: Cheboygan Takes a Loss

Cheboygan was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They lost 15-4 to the Kalkaska Blazers.

Cheboygan saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Nolan Schley, who went 1-for-2 with two runs. Sean Postula also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

Cheboygan's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Kalkaska, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cheboygan will host Elk Rapids at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday. The Elks will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Chiefs surely won't give up without a fight. As for Kalkaska, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Sacred Heart Academy at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday.
