Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Sioux City East). They took their contest on Friday with ease, bagging a 47-6 victory over the Roosevelt Roughriders. Given the Black Raiders' advantage in MaxPreps' Iowa football rankings (they are ranked 31st, while the Roughriders are ranked 174th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Sioux City East's win bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Roosevelt, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-4 record this season.
