Basketball Recap: Swett Takes a Loss

Swett suffered their biggest loss since January 30, 2024 on Thursday. They were dealt a 69-36 defeat at the hands of the Albany Cougars. The matchup marked the Warriors' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Swett's loss dropped their record down to 13-8. As for Albany, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 18-4.

Swett and Albany should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps California Rankings. Swett will challenge Richmond at 7:00 p.m. on Friday up 732 places (643 vs. 1375). Meanwhile, Albany (ranked 171st) will meet San Lorenzo (ranked 458th) at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday.
