Softball Recap: Grace Christian Academy Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Grace Christian Academy entered their tilt with Concord Christian on Tuesday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They blew past the Lions 18-1. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 17-0 last Monday.

Hayden Hill was a standout: she went 4-for-5 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in April of 2024. Katherine Mullins was another key player, going 3-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and four RBI.

Hill wasn't the only one working in the home run department: Grace Christian Academy lost a few balls and finished the game with three home runs. That's the most home runs they've managed all season.

Grace Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 7-5. As for Concord Christian, they are on a 16-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-11.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Grace Christian Academy will challenge Farragut at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Concord Christian, they will square off against King's Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. King's Academy has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 12.29 runs per game on average), something Concord Christian will no doubt try to take advantage of.
