Football Recap: Meadow Bridge Comes Up Short + How To Watch

After flying high against Valley last Friday, Meadow Bridge came back down to earth. The Wildcats had to suffer through a 54-12 loss at the hands of the Clay-Battelle Cee-Bees. The Wildcats lost against the Cee-Bees in their previous head to head back in October of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 34-28 score last time.

Having lost for the first time this season, Meadow Bridge fell to 5-1. As for Clay-Battelle, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Meadow Bridge will venture away from home to face off against Bland County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Wildcats are facing the Bears at the right time seeing as the Bears are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Clay-Battelle, they will head out on the road to challenge Richwood at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
