Soccer Recap: Page County Comes Up Short

There was early excitement for Page County after they claimed the first goal on Monday, however, they wouldn't score again. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Madison County Mountaineers. The loss continues a trend for Page County in their meetings with Madison County: they've now lost nine in a row.

Page County's goal came courtesy of Sam O'Neill, who's now up to seven this season.

Page County's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3-1. As for Madison County, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 3-5 record this season.
