Softball Recap: Divine Child Comes Up Short

Divine Child and Mercy pushed the score to 12-7 the last time they played Mercy, but on Saturday defenses reigned supreme. The Falcons fell just short of the Marlins by a score of 1-0. Having soared to a lofty 15 runs in the game before, the Falcons' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Divine Child has also been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 14 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-15 record this season. As for Mercy, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-13-1.

As of now, neither Divine Child nor the Marlins have any future games scheduled.
