Softball Recap: Central Private Comes Up Short

Central Private blew Parkview Baptist out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Wednesday Parkview Baptist got their revenge. The Redhawks fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 5-3. The Redhawks were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

This is the second loss in a row for Central Private and nudges their season record down to 9-5. As for Parkview Baptist, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-11.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Central Private will take on Plaquemine at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Parkview Baptist, they will face off against Denham Springs at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
