Soccer Recap: Farragut Plays to a Tie

For the first time this season, Farragut was forced to settle for a draw. Neither they nor the Mather Rangers could gain the upper hand on Monday so the two teams had to settle for a 2-2 draw.

Itzel Salgado and Julianie Perez scored both of Farragut's goals, bringing their combined season tally to nine goals.

Farragut's draw gives them a new season record of 6-2-1. Meanwhile, Mather's record is now 6-4-3.

Coming up, Farragut will be playing in front of their home fans against Spry Community Links at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Mather, they will head out on the road to face off against Little Village at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
