Basketball Recap: Genesee Christian's Win Ends Four-Game Losing Streak on the Road

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Lenawee Christian, Genesee Christian was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They snuck past the Bishop Foley Ventures with a 46-41 win. The Soldiers' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Genesee Christian's victory ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 1-4. As for Bishop Foley, their loss was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-5.

Genesee Christian will be home for the holidays to greet Plymouth Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Bishop Foley, they will venture away from home to challenge Cardinal Mooney Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Bishop Foley is facing Cardinal Mooney Catholic at the right time seeing as Cardinal Mooney Catholic is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
