Softball Recap: Monadnock Comes Up Short

Monadnock blew Trinity out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Wednesday Trinity got their revenge. The Huskies fell just short of the Pioneers by a score of 6-4. The Huskies' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

Monadnock's loss dropped their record down to 8-6. As for Trinity, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Monadnock is set to challenge their familiar foe Raymond at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Trinity will take on rival Gilford at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
