Volleyball Game Preview: Wake Prep Academy Guardians vs. Bunn Wildcats

Wake Prep Academy had won two straight road games and Harper Maxwell did her part to make it three on Monday. Everything went the Guardians' way against Roanoke Rapids as they made off with a 3-0 win thanks in part to Maxwell, who had 17 assists and six aces. Maxwell is crushing it when it comes to assists: she's posted at least 15 every time she's taken the court this season.

One reason for the win was Wake Prep Academy's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-11, 25-6.

Meanwhile, Bunn got the win against American Leadership Academy-Johnston on Wednesday by a conclusive 3-0.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Bunn was: they took every set by at least 11 points. The final score came out to 25-14, 25-12, 25-14.

Wake Prep Academy's victory bumped their record up to 17-4. As for Bunn, their win bumped their record up to 14-3.
