Basketball Recap: New Life Christian Wins Going Away Against Veritas Christian Academy

New Life Christian saw some tournament action on Friday. They strolled past Veritas Christian Academy with points to spare, taking the game 37-21. The win made it back-to-back victories for New Life Christian.

Despite the defeat, Veritas Christian Academy saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Madelyn Seifert dropped a double-double with 12 points and 11 boards. That was a full 57.1% of Veritas Christian Academy's points, marking the ninth time in a row Seifert has posted more than a third of the team's points.

New Life Christian's record is now 2-0. As for Veritas Christian Academy, the loss snapped their winning streak at five games and leaves them with a 21-8 record.

As of now, neither New Life Christian nor Veritas Christian Academy have any future games scheduled.
