Baseball Game Preview: Key Obezags vs. Indian Creek Eagles

The Key Obezags will square off against the Indian Creek Eagles at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Key will be strutting in after a win while Indian Creek will be coming in after a loss.

Last Wednesday, Key made easy work of Rockbridge Academy and carried off an 11-1 victory.

Zach Littmann tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run and allowed only two hits over five innings pitched.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on John Fisher, who scored two runs and stole Two bases. while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. Alex Neenan was another key player, scoring a run and stealing Two bases. while going 2-for-2.

Key always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .533. The last time their OBP was this high was back in March of 2024.

Meanwhile, Indian Creek came up short against Boys Latin on Thursday and fell 4-1. The Eagles haven't had much luck with the Lakers recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.
