The Classical Academy and Mullen pushed the score to 5-3 the last time they played Mullen, but on Saturday defenses reigned supreme. Neither the Titans nor the Mustangs could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw. The result (or lack thereof) marked The Classical Academy's first draw of the season.

Their goal came courtesy of Reagan Harter, who's now up to ten this season.

The Classical Academy's draw gives them a new season record of 9-4-1. As for Mullen, they moved theirs to 7-6-2.

Coming up, The Classical Academy will square off against KIPP Denver Collegiate at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. KIPP Denver Collegiate will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something The Classical Academy surely won't give up without a fight. As for Mullen, they didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against D'Evelyn on the 7th.
