Basketball Recap: Elmwood Park Takes a Loss

Elmwood Park lost against Paterson Charter School for Science and Technology on January 6th and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Elmwood Park Crusaders came up short against the Paterson Charter School for Science and Technology Lions, falling 77-51. While losing is never fun, the Crusaders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey basketball rankings (they are ranked 341st, while the Lions are ranked 143rd).

Elmwood Park has traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last nine matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-11 record this season. As for Paterson Charter School for Science and Technology, their win bumped their record up to 13-8.

Elmwood Park wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 65-40 victory against Saddle Brook on the 23rd. Paterson Charter School for Science and Technology has also already played their next game (against Waldwick), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
