Softball Recap: Sequatchie County Comes Up Short

Sequatchie County was the 6-2 winner over Whitwell when they last played one another back in March, but their luck changed this time around. The Indians took a 4-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tigers on Friday.

Sequatchie County saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Hannah Milligan, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one double.

Sequatchie County's defeat dropped their record down to 12-5. As for Whitwell, their victory bumped their record up to 9-10.

Coincidentally, Sequatchie County and Whitwell will both be playing Grace Christian Academy the next time they take the field. The Tigers will head out to face the Rams at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, while the Indians will play them later in the day, at 12:30 p.m.
