Volleyball Recap: Weaver Beavers vs. Civic Leadership Eagles
Weaver was the 3-0 winner over Civic Leadership when they last played one another back in October of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Weaver Beavers fell 3-1 to the Civic Leadership Eagles on Wednesday. The Beavers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Bella Bordieri had a dynamite game for Civic Leadership, getting 11 aces, five kills, and a block. Bordieri is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served two or more in the last seven games she's played dating back to last season.
Weaver now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Civic Leadership, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-3.
After both having extra time off, Weaver and Academy of Science and Innovation will dust off their jerseys to face off against one another at 4:45 p.m. on Friday. As for Civic Leadership, they will head out to challenge Metropolitan Learning Center at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
