Basketball Recap: S & S Consolidated Takes a Loss

S & S Consolidated was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 17th straight loss. They were dealt a 73-32 defeat at the hands of the Gunter Tigers. The Rams were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 42-11.

Despite the loss, S & S Consolidated saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Donaven Gingras posted 11 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Gingras has scored all season.

S & S Consolidated's defeat dropped their record down to 1-23. As for Gunter, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-3.

S & S Consolidated will square off against Howe at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. S & S Consolidated is facing Howe at the right time seeing as Howe is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Gunter, a feisty cat fight is on tap when the Gunter Tigers duke it out with the Bells Panthers at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Gunter has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
