Softball Recap: Batesville Bulldogs vs. East Central Trojans

Calli Fletcher made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole a base while going 3-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of Natasha Fowler, who went 3-for-3 with two RBI.
On East Central's side, Mikala Newland was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out seven batters over four innings while giving up three earned runs off six hits (and not a single walk). Newland was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.
