Joshua is 7-1 against Burleson since February of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Joshua Owls will head out to square off against the Burleson Elks at 7:00 p.m. Burleson took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Joshua, who comes in off a win.

Joshua will roll into the game after a wild two-game stretch: they didn't score any goals on Friday, then bounced right back against Everman on Tuesday. Joshua was the clear victors by a 6-1 margin over Everman. The result was nothing new for the Owls, who have now won five contests by three goals or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, Tuesday just wasn't the day for Burleson's offense. They came up short against Centennial on Tuesday, falling 7-0. The Elks have struggled against the Spartans recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.

Joshua has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up two goals over those six games. As for Burleson, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-6.

Joshua came out on top in a nail-biter against Burleson in their previous matchup back in March of 2024, sneaking past 2-1. Does Joshua have another victory up their sleeve, or will Burleson turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
