Softball Game Preview: South Bulldogs vs. Independence 76ers

The South Bulldogs will take on the Independence 76ers at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

South is headed into Wednesday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight game dating back to last season on Wednesday. They came up short against Marion-Franklin, falling 28-1.

Meanwhile, Independence was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat dating back to last season. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 21-20 heartbreaker at the hands of Africentric Early College. Even if the 76ers couldn't come away with the win, the high-scoring effort was a great turnaround for their hitters, which had struggled int the games prior.
