McDonald has won three straight games at home, while LaBrae has won three straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Wednesday. The Blue Devils will host the Vikings at 5:00 p.m. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (McDonald 3.8, LaBrae 3.8) so any runs scored will be well earned.
On Tuesday, McDonald was able to grind out a solid win over Jackson-Milton, taking the game 6-1.

Aubrey Evans spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on two hits and racked up 11 Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two hits in five consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Kayla Helco was incredible, going 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one run. The team also got some help courtesy of Gianna Mancini, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with two runs.
Meanwhile, after a string of 12 wins, LaBrae's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They took a 10-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of Southeast. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for the Vikings, who until this matchup were averaging 3.83 runs allowed.
Riley Rowe was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-4 with one home run and four RBI. Another player making a difference was Morgan Thompson, who went 3-for-4 with one home run and two runs.
LaBrae's defeat dropped their record down to 16-2. As for McDonald, their victory bumped their record up to 6-4.
The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Wednesday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. McDonald has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 10.1 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like LaBrae struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 10.2 strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.
McDonald couldn't quite finish off LaBrae in their previous meeting on April 4th and fell 8-6. Will the Blue Devils have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check back here after the action for a full breakdown and analysis of the contest.
