Fishers was not the first on the board on Friday, but they got there more often. They came out on top against the Zionsville Eagles by a score of 6-3. This was payback for the Tigers, who suffered a 17-7 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Francesca Jackson was excellent, going 2-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double. That's the most RBI she has posted over her last ten games. Anna McGrath was another key player, going 1-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Fishers' win was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 12-5. As for Zionsville, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-8.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Fishers is set to square off against their familiar foe Avon at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Zionsville will take on rival Westfield at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
