Football Game Preview: Hamilton Aggies vs. Haleyville Lions + Official Tickets

The Hamilton Aggies are taking a road trip to face off against the Haleyville Lions at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Hamilton has eight straight victories, Haleyville has eight straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

On Friday, Hamilton was able to grind out a solid win over Good Hope, taking the game 28-21. Those 28 points were actually the fewest the Aggies have put up all season, but given the result they're probably not too concerned.

Hamilton got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Mason Holloway out in front who rushed for 51 yards and two touchdowns, and also threw for 142 yards and one TD while completing 78.6% of his passes. Eli Harris was another key rusher, rushing for 140 yards and one score.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Haleyville challenged Fultondale on Friday. The Lions took a 26-21 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wildcats.

Hamilton will have to contain Fysher Seymour as he made an impact in Haleyville's last game. He picked up 100 receiving yards and one TD, and also rushed for 31 yards.

Haleyville's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Hamilton, their win bumped their record up to 8-0.

Hamilton skirted past Haleyville 46-43 in their previous matchup back in October of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Aggies since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
