NV - Old Tappan is still undefeated this season after their contest against Bergenfield on Monday, but Bergenfield came as close as anyone has to beating them. The Golden Knights skirted past the Bears 3-1. The three-run effort marked the Golden Knights' lowest-scoring match of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

NV - Old Tappan's victory was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-0. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for Bergenfield, their defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 5-4.
