The Jay County Patriots will head out to face off against the South Adams Starfires at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Jay County is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 11.5 runs per game this season.
Jay County can't be too worried about heading out to take on South Adams: they just beat Woodlan at home, who had been dominant on their own field up to that point. The Patriots never let the Warriors get on the board and left with a 5-0 victory on Saturday. South Adams hadn't beaten Bellmont on the road since May 9, 2015 but that history sure didn't bother them on Friday. The Starfires walked away with a 5-0 win over the Braves. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Starfires.
Jay County's record now sits at 11-1. As for South Adams, their record is now 11-2.
