Baseball Recap: Suwannee Snags 15th Win in Last 16 Games

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Suwannee had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They didn't even let the Paxon School For Advanced Studies Golden Eagles on the board, marking their second-straight 10-0 shutout. The Bulldogs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten contests by six runs or more this season.

Dillon Greene was a standout: he went 1-for-2 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. The team also got some help courtesy of Noah Lopez, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

Suwannee always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .516. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Paxon School For Advanced Studies only posted an OBP of .235.

Suwannee has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 15 of their last 16 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-6 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.4 runs over those games. As for Paxon School For Advanced Studies, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 16-8 record.

As of now, neither Suwannee nor the Golden Eagles have any future games scheduled.
