Softball Recap: Plymouth Whitemarsh Drops Highest Score of Season Against Quakertown

Plymouth Whitemarsh hadn't done well against Quakertown recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. Plymouth Whitemarsh put the hurt on Quakertown with a sharp 14-4 win. The Colonials' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Kalina Childers was incredible, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with one home run, four runs, and three RBI. Those four runs gave her a new career-high. Gia Bono was another key player, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3.

Plymouth Whitemarsh hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Quakertown struck out eight times.

Plymouth Whitemarsh moved to 2-4 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for Quakertown, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.
