Basketball Recap: Moscow Comes Up Short

Moscow was the 69-50 winner over Lakeland when they last played one another back in January of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Moscow Bears took a 61-50 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lakeland Hawks on Saturday. The Bears have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Moscow's loss dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Lakeland, their win was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 6-5.

Moscow will head out on the road to face off against Lewiston at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Lewiston's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last seven games. As for Lakeland, they will challenge Flathead at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Flathead has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the matchup with three straight defeats, while Lakeland will come in with four straight victories.
