Basketball Recap: Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin Gets the Win

Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin won the last time they faced Harvey and things went their way on Saturday too. The Lions walked away with a 78-71 win over the Red Raiders.

Several Red Raiders players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Dom Snyder, who went 7-for-11 en route to 18 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Neiman Booker, who posted 16 points.

Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Harvey, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin will challenge Kenston at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Harvey, they will take on Perry at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The contest will give the Red Raiders their first taste of in-conference action this season.
