Basketball Recap: Vinton County Takes a Loss

Vinton County lost against Fairfield Union back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Vikings took a 61-43 bruising from the Falcons.

Vinton County's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Fairfield Union, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Vinton County will head out to face off against Athens at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. This will be the Vikings' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Fairfield Union, they will venture away from home to challenge Logan Elm at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
