Soccer Game Preview: Concord Academy vs. Beaver Country Day

Concord Academy has gone 8-1 against Beaver Country Day recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. Concord Academy will venture away from home to square off against Beaver Country Day at 4:30 p.m. Concord Academy's last three matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Concord Academy is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering Wheeler just ended the team's four-match winning streak last Friday. The two teams finished up on equal footing with a 1-1 draw. The result kept Concord Academy happy, as they haven't lost a game since September 15th.

Meanwhile, Monday just wasn't the day for Beaver Country Day's offense. They fell 2-0 to Bancroft on Monday.

With that draw, Concord Academy's record moves to 6-1-2. As for Beaver Country Day, their loss dropped their record down to 0-7.

Everything went Concord Academy's way against Beaver Country Day in their previous meeting back in September, as Concord Academy made off with a 5-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Concord Academy since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
