Volleyball Recap: Emmaus' Undefeated Season over After 14 Games

After flying high against Southern Lehigh on Thursday, Emmaus came back down to earth. The Hornets came up short against the Governor Mifflin Mustangs on Friday, falling 3-0. The contest marked the first time this year in which the Hornets were not able to get on the board.

Miles Boulrice paced Emmaus' offense, picking up nine kills. Boulrice got some help from Ben Skekel and his 19 assists. Skekel was also solid from the service line: he led the team with two aces.

Having lost for the first time this season, Emmaus fell to 13-1. As for Governor Mifflin, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 9-0.

Looking ahead, Emmaus will take on Freedom at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Governor Mifflin, they will square off against Wilson at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
