Basketball Game Preview: Liberty Red Devils vs. High Point Academy Grizzlies

Liberty is on a five-game streak of home losses, High Point Academy a three-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck will change on Friday. The Liberty Red Devils will welcome the High Point Academy Grizzlies at 6:00 p.m. Liberty has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games.

Last Friday, Liberty lost to Blacksburg on the road by a 55-39 margin.

Despite the loss, Liberty had strong showings from Reagan Swafford, who posted eight points and nine rebounds, and Natalie White, who scored 14 points and five boards. Hannah Hooper also deserves some recognition as she scored her first points of the season.

Meanwhile, High Point Academy suffered their biggest defeat since January 4th on Tuesday. They lost 47-24 to Chesnee.

High Point Academy's loss dropped their record down to 5-14. As for Liberty, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-16.

Liberty beat High Point Academy 51-40 in their previous meeting back in January. Will Liberty repeat their success, or does High Point Academy have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
