Softball Recap: Burns Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Burns can now relate to. They came up short against the West Stanly Colts on Tuesday, falling 12-1. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Burns' defeat dropped their record down to 12-8. As for West Stanly, they pushed their record up to 21-4 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home.

Burns does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for West Stanly, they will take on McMichael on Friday. The Colts' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Phoenix have averaged an impressive 10.2 runs per game this season.
