Stump Made His Presence Known in Kearny's 56-16 Victory

Starting off the list is Kearny's Brodie Stump, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Stump threw for 380 yards and six touchdowns while completing 78.4% of his passes.

Stump must have Clairemont's number; he was a force to be reckoned with the last time he faced them too. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Stump saw the Chieftains), he threw for 448 yards and four touchdowns, and also rushed for 47 yards.

Kearny was led to victory by Jaylen Hill, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Hill picked up 67 receiving yards and a touchdown, and also rushed for 56 yards and a touchdown. He didn't just play on offense: he also forced a fumble and made two total tackles.

This season, Hill has caught 2 touchdowns while averaging 39.6 receiving yards per game.
