Basketball Recap: Penn Treaty Comes Up Short

Penn Treaty lost against Kensington back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Penn Treaty Wovles took a 51-47 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Kensington KENSINGTON TIGER. The Wovles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

When it comes to explaining why Penn Treaty lost, don't look at Heavon Washington. Despite the final result, he posted 15 points. The matchup was Washington's third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Delval Carr, who scored ten points.

Leading Kensington to victory were Nyree Ellis and Rob Smith. Ellis had 16 points, while Smith earned 16 points. Smith is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 16 or more in the last three games he's played.

Penn Treaty now has a losing record at 3-4-1. As for Kensington, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-3.

Penn Treaty wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 64-55 victory against Philadelphia Electric Charter on the 14th. As for Kensington, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 57-54 win against Mastery Charter Hardy Williams on the 10th.
