Football Game Preview: Lowell Devils vs. Monroe Dragons + How To Watch

The Lowell Devils will square off against the Monroe Dragons at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Monroe will take on a team with plenty of momentum: Lowell extended their winning streak to five on Friday. The Devils took their contest with ease, bagging a 54-12 victory over Waldport. Given the Devils' advantage in MaxPreps' Oregon football rankings (they are ranked 20th, while the Irish are ranked 75th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Monroe made easy work of Oakridge on Friday and carried off a 36-16 win. The Dragons haven't had any issues with the Warriors recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

The win got Monroe back to even at 3-3. As for Lowell, their victory bumped their record up to 5-1.

Everything came up roses for Lowell against Monroe in their previous matchup back in October of 2023, as the team secured a 49-14 win. Will the Devils repeat their success, or do the Dragons have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
