Volleyball Recap: Westerville Central Comes Up Short

Westerville Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They came up short against the Westerville North Warriors, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 on Monday.

The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-13, 25-16.

Westerville Central's defeat dropped their record down to 2-16. As for Westerville North, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 14 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-4 record this season.

Westerville Central will challenge Worthington Kilbourne at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday. The Wolves will roll in looking for their tenth straight victory, something the Warhawks surely won't give up without a fight. As for Westerville North, they will square off against Upper Arlington at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
