Basketball Recap: Ar-We-Va Comes Up Short

Ar-We-Va was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They had to suffer through a 46-16 loss at the hands of the Coon Rapids-Bayard Crusaders. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Rockets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 63-14 back in December of 2024.

Ar-We-Va's defeat dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Coon Rapids-Bayard, the victory (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 9-1.

Ar-We-Va has already played their next match (against Exira-EHK), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Coon Rapids-Bayard will head out to challenge CAM at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (CAM has won three straight at home, while Coon Rapids-Bayard won nine straight on the road dating back to last season), something that'll have to change.
