Basketball Game Preview: New Way Learning Academy Bulldogs vs. Arizona Cultural Academy Wolves

The New Way Learning Academy Bulldogs and the Arizona Cultural Academy Wolves will meet in a dog eat dog contest at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Last Thursday, New Way Learning Academy humbled Paradise Valley Christian Prep with a 55-23 victory. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bulldogs.

Meanwhile, Arizona Cultural Academy blew past James Madison Preparatory School, posting a 69-36 win. Given the Wolves' advantage in MaxPreps' Arizona basketball rankings (they are ranked 75th, while the Patriots are ranked 200th), the result on Thursday wasn't entirely unexpected.

Arizona Cultural Academy's victory was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 13-1. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 32 points. As for New Way Learning Academy, their win bumped their record up to 9-5.

New Way Learning Academy came up short against Arizona Cultural Academy in their previous meeting back in January of 2024, falling 53-41. Can New Way Learning Academy avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
