After only two runs in their last game, Cedarcrest made sure to put some runs up on the board against Evergreen on Friday. The Red Wolves came out on top against the Wolverines by a score of 11-6. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 5-2 victory last Friday.

Carter Smith made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been consistent for a while: he hasn't given up more than two hits in nine consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

In other batting news, Braden Bottemiller was a standout: he went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and one run. Murphy Vliem was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI.

Cedarcrest was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .485. The last time their batting average was this high was back in April.

Cedarcrest's record is now 17-5. As for Evergreen, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-7 record this season.
