Softball Recap: Robertsdale Wins Going Away Against Ramsay

Robertsdale picked up another tournament win on Saturday. They were the clear victor by a 13-1 margin over the Ramsay Rams. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Golden Bears.

Robertsdale let Danica Parnell and Madelynn Sewell run wild. Parnell went 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs, while Sewell went a perfect 2-for-2 with four RBI, two runs, and two doubles. That's the most runs Parnell has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Kahlen Morgan, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Robertsdale always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .636. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Robertsdale's win bumped their record up to 3-5. As for Ramsay, their loss was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-5.

Robertsdale will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Elberta at 7:00 p.m. on March 11th. As for Ramsay, they will be taking part in a tournament against Pickens County at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday.
