The elite high school football teams in Florida lived up to that billing Friday night as Top 25 teams went 19-0.
Among the winners were No. 1 IMG Academy, who made light work of Hoover (Ala.) in a 38-7.
No. 2 St. Thomas Aquinas faced a formidable challenge in one-loss Western but cruised to a 41-16 win.
No. 3 Northwestern and No. 4 Armwood both posted shutout victories.
One ranked team who did get a push was No. 9 Lakewood, who came from behind for a 31-24 win over Dunbar.
No. 6 Central, No. 7 American Heritage, No. 14 Booker T. Washington and No. 24 Treasure Coast are idle this week.
