Volleyball Recap: Miley Krueger and Olivia Collinsworth Secure Win for Merrill

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Mosinee, Merrill was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They came out on top against the Wausau East Lumberjacks by a score of 2-0. The Bluejays haven't had any issues with the Lumberjacks recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Merrill was led to victory by Olivia Collinsworth and Miley Krueger. Collinsworth had four aces, while Krueger had three digs. Those four aces gave Collinsworth a new career-high.

They weren't the only good server: Merrill was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 14 aces. That's the most aces they've managed all season.

The win got Merrill back to even at 6-6. As for Wausau East, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-5.
